OMG this book! It literally gave me whiplash. Like the couple I was in love one minute, ready to kill them the next, and all the while hoping for their HEA. Nothing about Josh and Natasha's relationship is easy, and over time their hardships wore on me. However, it is addictive and I obviously have to read their sequel now. Do I recommend? If you are into forbidden love, okay with serious angst, and in the mood for something super hot - YES!

Safety Gang: Not safe/Hero slept with OW's on separation, also slept with stripper whilst met with the heroine after separation, heroine virgin celibateI would give this book more stars, if not for the fact the Hero was a total manhore on a monumental proportions! I am not kidding! The things he did with all those strippers in his house in that bed were disgusting! Add the fact heroine never slept with anyone for 7 years because she loved him so much and he was swimming in women for all that time is not very romantic nor equal! I want fairness, I want my heroine enjoining sexual life and not holding back where the hero on the other hand is having sex with anyone that moves! This is not sexy not desirable! This is a contemporary romance, hence it should inspire equality and not encourage double standards! Why is the heroine untouched to show the dept of love for the hero, but he cannot have the same for her?...I admit the author made the Hero hard to like.. He calls heroine a "bi*ch" on numerous times and i cannot imagine my significant other calling me that nor I want to read that in my romantic escapism!

So, this is an author I had never heard of. And I am shocked! This book is so far beyond amazing I think everyone needs to read it! EVERYONE!!! At the end of chapter two, we are given some information that may make you turn your head, but trust me, you NEED to keep reading. This book is told primarily from the perspective of Natasha, although we do get some glimpses of the other characters. Natasha has truly loved only one man in her life. She has been in love with him for seven years, even though they have not been together since she was 17. Now that they are thrust together via a wedding, you had better strap in because you are about to embark on a wild and very HOT ride!Joshua (Josh) is a man whore, plain and simple. He may never settle down or reign himself in. He is also very rich and an alpha through and through. When he stands up for his brother’s wedding, all bets are off when he sees Natasha for the first time in seven years. HOLY HELL BATMAN. I was not expecting that! And whatever it was, I loved it and need more. Right now. When things are not what they appear, signals get crossed, jealousy sprouts, and then the making up is EXPLOSIVE! There are some fade to black scenes in this book, but trust me if there were not, it would be too much. But when the curtain stays open and we get a peek behind closed doors…you will need a fan, batteries and any willing partner you can find to help you scratch the itch. Also, make sure to grab your blankie, a box of tissues, a bottle of wine, and some headache meds (you will need them for the book hangover) and then dig in and enjoy! ~ Devlynn, 5 Mother Lovin’ stars~~~ What a freaking amazingly hot book!!!! The beginning was a little slow but as soon as Joshua Stanton made his appearance it was like a freight train with nothing to stop him! Natasha and Joshua fell in love when she was 17 and he 19. Their love was one that was forbidden on every level, yet they couldn't fight what the heart wanted. Natasha made a decision that she thought was best, not only for her but especially for Joshua, and from then on neither of their lives has been the same. When Joshua returns to Australia after seven years, Natasha doesn't know what he will be like or if he will even remember her but, let me tell you, the first time they see each other in seven years had me getting all hot and bothered and yelling at my tablet, "Just go ahead and get it on for crying out loud!" If I thought that was intense, well, I was definitely not prepared for the rest of the book. It burned my tablet's battery from it overheating because let me say, the sex scenes were freaking scorching HOT!!!As Joshua and Natasha "talk" things over about what's been going on with them the last past years and, while I couldn't help but feel the frustration they had for one another for the years they lost, what really stood out was the sexual tension between these two. They couldn't have a decent conversation without fighting because they realized they both had changed. There is plenty of drama, angst and those curve balls that had me once again yelling at my tablet "What The F*ck Just Happened"??? Joshua and Natasha now have some tough decisions to make about their lives; will they give their relationship a try? Will they allow their families to come between them or will fight for what they want this time? This is the first book I've read from TL Swan and I'm definitely hooked!! ~ Kara, 5 Scorching Hot Stars

What. Did. I. Just. Read.??????????????????????I have no words...none at all. My head is fists are clenched...what?????Please forgive me for completely going overboard here with my venting, but WHAT WAS THIS???Super forbidden love going on here (until we learn the truth in the end).Natasha, Tash, Presh, whatever -A spastic, dense, insecure, backbone missing, drama magnet "heroine" (if we can even call her that). The fact that she ALLOWED herself to be treated or talked to the way the H did blew my freaking mind!! I don't care if he had a freaking fighter jet in his pants - NOT. WORTH. IT. And her desperation to be with him was just nauseating on all levels.Joshua, Josh, Scumbag, whatever -A douchebag who can't keep his schlong in his pants or his tongue in his mouth. Who calls the heroine a raving bitch...a beautiful/sexy slut...who tells her to f*ck off all the time...who just has ZERO romantic or sexual appeal to me...he disgusts me in more ways than one. I don't care how much he cared for the heroine. This was downright demoralizing in my opinion. I'm STILL trying to figure out what exactly it is that makes these two love so deserving. They are both so TOXIC for each other, it's scary. Why did I read this whole book? Because I needed to step out of my comfort zone but after this, it's calling me back. As much as I want to read the next installment to see what happens between these two, I can't take this emotional train wreck any longer. Honestly. TOXIC!!!

DNF @ 40%.The h is a clinical psychologist while the H is a billionaire tech guy. Unfortunately, these characters were incredibly immature; they spoke and acted like idiots. By the way, you can't be a clinical psych at the age of 25. You would be closer to 30. Oh and did I mention that the H who is a rich tech guru also participates in underground cage fighting? My eyes rolled so many times when I was reading this book, I didn't even finish the story!! The h slept with the H when they were teens but after they broke up, she never slept with anyone again. She was celibate for 6-7 yrs while the H was sleeping with many women sometimes more than one at a time. The h had horrible loud mouth sex crazed friends who encouraged her to dress slutty and have casual sex. And this donkey went along with it. The H was devastated when they separated as teenagers but the h was doing all the chasing and begging when they meet again. I hate that!! I will not be reading this series.

Holy hit by a monster truck! I loved this book by TL Swan. Joshua Stanton is all kinds of McSwoony and I absolutely loved the struggle and the tension between him and the leading female character, Natasha. There are so many twists and turns along the way that I couldn't even begin to tell you what kind of road it goes on. All I can say is that it never once made me think I knew what was coming. There is plenty of hot, steamy moments between the two of these characters, and despite the obvious elephant in the room, you can't help but cheer them on and hope like holy hell that they get together. It's fire meets fire and when they throw it down, all kinds of flames fly high. Their relationship is fantastically written, as are the side characters, and I love the fact that we get to see both points of view along the way, although it is predominately Natasha's voice we hear more of. If you're looking for a new read that takes you from cold to hot, calm to raging, dreamy sighing to growling at your kindle... This is one for you! Such a fabulous read from a talented author. Well done, TL! :)

This is going to be one of the harder reviews I’ve ever written. I hate writing critical reviews, but with all of the glowing four and five star reviews I just need to put it out there of what to expect with this book. But first, let’s talk about what worked…When Joshua Stanton returns to Australia after seven years away, he immediately crosses paths with Natasha, the one who got away. The two had a whirlwind romance over a couple of months as teenagers and neither was able to get over the attraction to the other. Joshua left Australia, bound for the States in order to pursue a prestigious internship that later made him a near billionaire. Joshua was willing to give it all up to be with Natasha, but familial pressure caused her to break it off with him, telling a lie that Joshua believed for years. But the two immediately pick up where they left off when Joshua returns, much to the disapproval of the families of the couple. They have a major secret, and it’s seriously taboo. I loved the taboo and the second chance love aspect of the story. I caught on pretty early that things weren’t quite what they seemed, but soon I found reading the book nearly painful. If it was just the incredibly toxic relationship between Natasha and Joshua and juvenile behavior on both of their parts that would be one thing, but the biggest problem with this book is that I’m relatively certain that at no point has it crossed the desk of an editor, or even a proofreader. This book is probably one of the most egregious offenders of not showing versus telling that I have come across. The language is repetitive and superfluous, with the same words used over and over ad nauseum, instead of using descriptive language to express meaning. For instance, when doing a search of the words “wide” and “eyes” used together, there are forty-three results.Examples:I pull wide eyes at her…I do wide eyes at her…Abbie whispers, eyes wide…He does wide eyes to accentuate his point. He does wide eyes at me…I do wide eyes at him…Cameron does wide eyes to me…You get the point. Not only do they have what comes across as the eyes of Muppets, but apparently when Joshua is aroused, he cracks his neck. He just so happens to crack his neck twenty-six times in the book; the poor guy has a perpetual hard-on. The author uses the word “deadpan” twenty times, most times in an awkward way. I don’t normally condone the use of a thesaurus to use words you might not normally use, but in this case, it would be beneficial. Stone-faced, straight-faced, expressionless…all provide the same meaning, yet provide a much more vivid picture than using the same word repeatedly. And:He nods and smiles as he drains his glass. He nods an over-exaggerated nod. That is a Creative Writing 101 offense right there. There are also other issues such as made up words (ordacity?) and using words incorrectly, such as inception. “I know about the premeditated inception, you dumb fuck!” I scream. He steps back in shock that I am onto him. “Inception?” he frowns.“Inception means to plant an idea in another’s mind. What are you trying to plant in my mind Joshua?” No, the MOVIE Inception is about exactly that, however what he is doing is trying to plant a seed of doubt, or deception. It’s things like this that made this book painful at times. Also of note is that the narration is all over the place, without much of an indicator when there is a shift, other than two fonts are used. I had to go back and read passages over more than once because I was trying to figure out who was talking. There is a dual-person POV from the hero and heroine, as well as third person from time to time. There is no delineation between the shifts like a header or graphic or anything, making it quite confusing. But finally, it is the use of regional slang that truly put me off. I understand that the author is Australian, and I read a lot of books by authors who speak other dialects of the English language, so I am familiar and comfortable with most expressions, however there were some used in this book that were just plain hilarious. He raises a brow. “Are you eating?” Is he deluded? I shake my head. He hunches his shoulders and starts to tuck into his breakfast. I scowl again. He’s so annoying. He doesn’t care I’ve got the shits. I walk over and pour myself a coffee. I really am starving and he knows it, the asshole.“Don’t you care that I’ve got the shits?” I snap.Or:He grabs me on the ass, “I like witty brunette beautiful sluts who are gagging for it.”No. Just, no. While “the shits” might mean she’s upset, it’s really not appropriate in an erotic novel, especially when they’d been practicing some back door action a couple of chapters previously. I’m really concerned Natasha might have IBS, and there is nothing hot about that. And “gagging for it”, means she wants it, however there are several instances in which I’m picturing the poor woman retching, not becoming aroused. So, it’s obvious this book didn’t do it for me and I won’t continue on with the series as it took me two weeks to get through this one to begin with (I can usually get through a book every day or two). An editor could cut half of this book and you’d never know the difference, other than to make it a lot easier to read. I thought the storyline had a lot of promise, but the writing read like a draft and the characters were unlikeable at best. I know a lot of people have liked this book and many more probably will, but I just needed to be honest in my assessment.

Where do I even start! I loved this. I hated this (at times). But... I could not PUT IT DOWN! Immediately after finishing this book I bought books two and three and read the entire trilogy, cover to cover!Stanton Adore brings us the story of Natasha and Josh, they haven’t seen each other for seven years and it seems neither of them have moved on. But this wasn’t just a second-chance love story. This was far more complicated. It was a HOT MESS. We are hit with some surprises early on and I’m not even going to go there. Just read it and find out for yourself. I can say, I did not see THAT coming. I do admit that I wanted to strangle these two so much throughout this story. They were so immature at times. But you know what, I did not care. I loved it. It worked. It had me pulling out my hair and turning the page to find out what was going to happen next, all at the same time. This was purely addicting. There were some minor issues throughout the book that would typically drive me insane (small things might have been caught in the newly released boxed set) – but they just didn’t matter to me once I got into the story. Which is saying a lot. The story was gripping enough that I was hooked and had to dive right into the next book to find out what happened nextIf you like angsty reads, this is a great series to dive into. Beyond the angst, forbidden type love, second chance... themes – you get a hot man-whore alpha male with Josh. Jesus that man. His mouth. His. COCK. Perfection. I was gagging for a one way trip to pound town.

4.5 stars for the storyline. This book has a bit of everything I enjoy in a story, young love, hot millionaire with an Aussie accent, likable characters, taboo relationship, some suspense, angst and scorching sex. So glad I waited until book 2 was out to start this series bc the end of this book is a huge cliff. I can only imagine how much this author got from her readers to hurry up bc book 2 was needed. Now onto Stanton Unconditional!!!!!

Yowza this was angst overload There were moments that I really wanted to smack some sense into both Josh and Natasha .. God lord these two were daft as a mule at times ! But there were also those bits that I absolutely adored . And let's not forget the steamy bits !!! Looking forward to book 2 for sure.

Wow! I can describe this book in 2 words - HOT and TOXIC! I kept hearing Brittany Spears in the back of my mind as I was reading. Natasha and Josh are first cousins, who happen to fall in love in their late teens. Natasha breaks it off, fearing that he will ruin his future if he gives up everything to be with her. After many years apart, they reconnect at a family wedding in Australia and pick up immediately where they left off. The relationship between Natasha and Josh is probably the most toxic relationship I've ever read and I needed to cleanse my head with a sweet YA book after this one. There is a lot of make up, break up and making the other person jealous. Don't get me wrong, I still LOVED every moment of it. On top of that, Josh is one kinky fuck! "The woman I marry will have to endure hours and hours of being tied up to our bed, legs spread wide while I pleasure her with my tongue and fuck her with my hands and then continually driving into her tight cunt with my cock so hard she won't know where I end and she begins. Only to be rolled over and taken again from behind. Constantly. She would have to love taking me orally and vaginally and anally...Repeatedly"If you think that's hot, there's plenty more where that came from! Josh likes to call Natasha his "beautiful slut" and even makes a very naughty video of the two of them together. The secondary characters in the story are extremely well written and the relationship between Natasha, her sister Bridget and best friend Abbie is hilarious, with several laugh out loud moments."Oh no," Abbie scowls towards the counter."What?" I ask as I sip my coffee."It's Tunnel cunt." I can't help it - I spit my coffee all over Bridget"How do you know she has a tunnel cunt? Actually, what is its definition?" Abbie and I are in fits of gigglesAlthough the storyline is forbidden, I wanted it to be more taboo. Yes, they were first cousins, but everyone knew about the relationship except for the parents. Once the friends and siblings found out it sort of lost some of the illicitness. Stanton Adore does end on quite a cliffhanger, but not to worry because book 2, Stanton Unconditional is already out! :-) I highly recommend reading Stanton Adore, especially for those that are interested in an explosively hot and forbidden relationship. An ARC was kindly provided by the Author for an honest review.Review posted at Love Between the SheetsFollow us on Facebook and Twitter

Whoa... there is just so much drama packed into this book. Damn!Joshua and Natasha fell in love in their teens. Their relationship was 'taboo' so she made a sacrifice and broke both of their hearts. Seven years later, the love is still strong, still deep. But Joshua was a serious slut while they were apart. Hurdle number one. Their relationship is still 'taboo'. Hurdle number two. Joshua's mom is mean and manipulative. Hurdle number three. Let's not forget that Joshua and Natasha are freakin LOCO. That's hurdle number four. There was so much back and forth in this book, that if you're not a patient person, you will effin lose your mind! And why was Natasha characterized as the 'beggar' in this story? If anyone should have been begging, it should have been Joshua. Some of the things he did and said were forgiven way too easily. I get he's hot. But hit men can grovel. The world won't end if they do. I would have liked it more if he was the one doing the chasing. Besides that, why did he get away with calling the so-called love of his life a bitch or a slut? And she liked it?! Suffragists were turning in their graves!!I really liked the side characters. Adrian was the one who stood out the most. I just love masculine gay men. He was written really well. Cameron was another. These boys were just too sweet and funny. Bridget and Abbs were wonderful friends as well. Their entire crew was on point. Now that ending was crazy!! I have a firm love/hate relationship with cliffys. Thankfully I already have book 2. I'm hoping for a little less drama and a lot more love. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

So, I read Dr. Stanton first and absolutely loved it! Then I started the Stanton series with really high hopes, even my GR friends gave it high ratings so this might be an issue of it's me not you. The cousin thing did not bother me, the Aussie slang though hard to understand at times was endearing, the writing flowed and was well written. My problem was the two main characters. I found them very annoying to the point I tried to dnf it at least 10 times.Natasha's character started out great but she acted like a hormonal teenager not a twenty something college educated psycologist. She even called herself a drama queen more times than I can count but to her credit she admitted and apologized for her over reactions. I was not feeling the hero at all. Shocking! I mean he was rich, gorgeous, smart, well endowed man with an Ausie accent. What's not to love right? I thought he was as temperamental and as OTT dramatic as the heroine. Really I thought he was an ass most of the time. So although I don't plan to finish this series, l loved Dr. Stanton and will give her future books a try.

Totally addicting! I loved the story. It's one of forbidden love that has twists and secrets, awesome secondary characters and funny dialogue. The two main characters, Joshua and Natasha are amazing together! Josh is a domineering, possessive prick that is in love with Natasha but he makes some shit decisions at times. Natasha is a psychologist so she's prone to over-analyze everything and that just causes more drama. There are so many unanswered questions at this point and this does end on a cliffhanger. This is one that gave me all the feels... between the hot sex with the MC's and the awful feeling of what is to come, these two were a big mess at times. I must know what happens, so I'm moving on to the next book!

***This review is part of a blog tour***Where to begin? Well, I can honestly say that I was totally blown away by this novel. It really had me chomping at the bit from the very first chapter. The two main characters hit the sheets from the very first page, and it’s HOT!!! Smokin’ dirty talk from two teenagers that definitely set the stage for their intimate encounters. And, that whopper of a secret divulged from that first chapter leads me to believe that this is going to be one heck of a ride. I was so totally into the story and no way in hell was I ever bored. Man, it was just so heavy on the hurt and pain that these two caused each other. Back and forth, “let’s break up” , “this will never work”, “what are we thinking”. They just couldn’t seem to get it together as a couple until they both decided “f**k it, it’s our life”. Damn, what a dilemma that could have devastating consequences for all.Natasha and Joshua have been in love since they were teenagers, but on that fateful day when Natasha broke Josh’s heart, they have not seen each other since. Josh just can’t forgive her for doing the unspeakable, but what he doesn’t realize is that Natasha was trying to save him. After seven years of no contact whatsoever, the two have no choice but to encounter each other again at a family wedding. Of course there’s friction and tense moments, but neither can forget that extreme feeling of love and infatuation that they felt for one another. What will happen in the coming weeks as both question their real feelings and ultimate choices? This book was amazing! The characters were confident and compelling. Both main characters seemed to really want everything their own way, though, but when push came to shove they absolutely were in love with each other. Natasha really hasn’t been able to move on with anyone else. Sure she’s had other relationships, but nothing and no one can even come close to the intimacy and feelings that she had for Josh. And, Josh, just seemed to be trying to replace Natasha with every woman possible, but no one ever measured up to “presh”. Now there’s all kinds of things that go on here...jealousy, fighting, partying, drugs, alcohol, and sex. And, wow the sex was explosive!!! HOT and STEAMY! So, scorching between the two!!! These two definitely set the sheets on fire!!!As the story moves along, the reader knows that something is going to either bring these two together permanently or pull them apart indefinitely. It’s drama and intrigue at it’s very best. Why does Josh have all these bodyguards around? Will their love be strong enough to keep them together? What happens when a distressing secret told to Natasha in desperation has her questioning the ability to destroy lives? The supporting characters has the reader entranced in some fun and entertaining dialogue as well. With some loyal and honest family members and friends, the story takes on a very protective balance. Both main characters know that they will be protected physically as well as emotionally by loved ones. It’s the secrets and lies that has everyone unsteady and questioning the two lovers' real connection. Wow! And, that ending!!! God, that was epic!!! Damn, that was shocking!!! Magnificent story telling! Carnal and passionate intimacy!!! Mind-blowing drama!! And, a profuse amount of secrets and lies!! Who’s to say what will happen next. Well, book two is out now, so it’s onto that I go!!! You will not be disappointed with this intriguing find!!!Beautiful engaging cover as well!!

A steamy sexy angst filled forbidden romance. The opening scene had me gripped from the start. Natasha 17 and Joshua 19 first cousins in love. Natasha ending things when they got too hot to handle because she saw what Joshua was going to throw away for her.Seven years on Natasha now a clinical psychologist and Joshua a cage fighting millionaire computer wizard meet up at a family wedding. The sexual tension and chemistry still very much full on between them. They decide to make a go of things together despite their family connections. Both family's not happy with it especially Margaret, Joshua's evil mother.Things get very heated and intense throughout. I felt something was missing when reading this book at the start but by the end all was revealed.A real roller coaster of emotions. My heart and head all over the place with that ending.I loved it but how could you do that Joshua Stanton!!!A copy gifted in exchange for a honest review. Thank you T L Swan.

4.5 stars.Wow! My favourite kind of romance; forbidden and totally hot! This book completely captivated me. I got to 16% in on my kindle and stopped to message a bookie friend to tell her that already this book was so freaking good! I then pushed real life aside to live this one; I couldn’t tear my eyes away if I tried! This book is set in Australia and told in duel point of view between gorgeous Clinical Psychologist Natasha Marx who specialises in sexual issues and her first cousin Joshua Stanton, who is now a cage fighting, hottie, millionaire playboy and App mogul! 7 years previously they had fallen in love, succumbed to a whirlwind, passionate romance then dramatically fell out of each other’s lives, never to reach out to each other again. The entire 7 years that they had been apart they never got over each other; yet, they had absolutely no idea how they both felt. My goodness, when they finally met again it was simply electric between them. The sexual tension was thick and consuming and so very scorching hot and of course, still forbidden and dangerous. Both of them had changed significantly since they were kids and they have both used different coping strategies to get them through the years of hurt they had felt separately. These coping strategies are very prominent in their newly renewed relationship and are major roadblocks that they needed to move past and that’s hard. “When did you become such a beautiful slut?”I smile, my chest filling with an unnamed emotion. “When you came back for me and turned on the switch,” I breathe…The forbidden aspect of this book causes a lot of discord between the family and Josh finds it harder to deal with than Natasha. He battles with his conscience constantly. I could understand why he fort his attraction so damn hard but God he frustrated me. The push and pull of their relationship gave me almost as much sexual tension as they had, teehee! I’m not sure that I have met such a volatile, explosive couple as these two. Nor have I met a couple that forgave and made up so promptly; they gave me whiplash! I found myself completely invested in these characters and hoping with all my might that they would be ok. ‘This woman is a total mind-fuck. One minute I hate her, the next thing I want to fuck her into next week. I can’t keep up.’Not only did this book have a thick blanket of sexual tension, passion, angst and heart break, there was also fun, hope and love too. There were some fantastic secondary characters, Natasha’s best friend Abbie and her Sister Bridget are so much fun and great friends to have. I’m looking forward to reading more about them. This book is part of a series and the ending of this book will hit you hard with a cliff-hanger from hell but don’t despair, book 2, Stanton Uncondidtional is already out so don’t be put off!An ARC was kindly provided by the Author for an honest review.Review posted at Love Between the Sheets Follow us on Facebook and Twitter

I am still a little confused....Don't know if it's a 4 or 5 stars, though I choose now a 5!This book is a wooow... Get to know Natasha, a sexual psychologist - which is funny, considering she needs to have some sessions with a sexual psychologist - she a regular lady, sometimes she has the power to piss us off a loooot, but she is not (so) boring, she is pretty much like a normal person, jealous as hell, acts on impulse and cries... OMG, she is not afraid of crying! Tash also knows what she wants, and it makes her life easier, with the 'power' of psychology she is very good at dealing with people.. Ohh have I mentioned she cries? And she is completeley, totally in love with Josh...Joshua, better call him baby or Josh, he is a hottie, brunet, blue eyes, strong, on my mind he is Henry Cavill... just very handsome... He is a businessmen and a cage fighter, aham.. a cage fighter... though this part is not so explored he does fight a few times! Josh is a player, a damn player, he can't have only one girl, he has to have all of them, and his sexuallity really needs to be used! Despite being a player, Josh LOVES Natasha, and it's soooo beautiful! They are not afraid of exposing their feelings, so what? what does the book bring that is interesting?A few issues, some may also consider the main problem a taboo, not that I consider normal, but I was really going for Tash&Josh, no matter what! What makes this book really nice are the other characters, geee.... they are so cool, always together, a sister, a gay friend, some relatives and the bodyguards... When I felt connected to Natasha in some parts, as a woman, she feels insecure, she asks questions she may not want to know the answers, she jump to conclusions, she makes up the story in her mind, she loves and fight for Josh!Josh is dominant, he is bossy with everybody, but his mom... what a hell of mom!I don't like to give spoilers, so, read! It's delicious! LOLNow, I'm going to book 2, because book 1 ends in a cliff!

4.5 Stars! Review by Lisa KaneI loved this book! Natasha and Josh were teen age lovers but there are reasons they SHOULD not be together. Fearing that Josh is giving up his future for her, Natasha tells a lie and dumps him. Seven years later, they meet again at his brother's wedding. He is back home in Australia, having based his business in America. He is a multi millionaire and she is a sex therapist. Neither has really gotten over the other. I will say this-Josh is a total manwhore of the worst kind. Hundreds of women-I mean hundreds! Natasha-not so much. But as much as they can not stay apart from the connection that pulls at them, they do not seem to be able to make it work. I wanted to knock some sense into the two of them!Great sex, fantastic writing, intriguing plot! This one is a def recommended read! Beware it's a cliffy, but the second book is out.

Phresh4.5 stars for the storyline. Overall was a 4 partially due to poor formatting. This book has a bit of everything I enjoy in a story, young love, hot millionaire with an Aussie accent, likeable characters, taboo relationship, some suspense, angst and scorching sex. So glad I waited until book 2 was out to start this series bc the end of this book is a huge cliff. I can only imagine how much this author got from her readers to hurry up bc book 2 was needed. Now onto Stanton Unconditional!!!!!

DNF @ 0% I think that's a new record for me. I absolutely hate it when a book opens to the sex scene. Very rarely will that ever work for me.So silly. The author needs to hang around some teenagers and learn the lingo. I can assure you, there isn't a young man out there that would ever talk like this:"Precious girl can you feel me? Feel how ready you are for me?""I can make it feel better, precious...let me.""How does the word penetration sound?"So. Freaking. Stupid.BTW: this is only in chapter one.

3.5 STARS Original Review @ Naomi’s Reading PalaceWhen I started Stanton Adore, I thought it would be about a second chance at love for Natasha and Joshua. I saw the passion between them seven years prior and was left wondering what happened between them. Then I got to the end of the second chapter, and BAM! A twist I did not see coming! It was very clever and kept me in suspense wondering what would happen!I could see that Natasha was still yearning for Joshua… They had a deep connection and her thoughts were often taken back to those few days where they were together. Considering that she works as a Sexual Clinical Psychologist, she really has limited experience when it comes to sex, and has had only a few serious boyfriends over the years. Once she’s in the same room as Joshua, their connection is strong and they are continually drawn to one another.Joshua has moved on as best as he could since leaving Natasha behind seven years ago, by being the rich playboy that he is. The depth of his feelings leak out slowly and soon the possessive Josh takes over. There is no denying these two belong together, although these lines shouldn’t be crossed.Although this particular book is about the reconnection between Joshua and Natasha, I could see there is another plot thread that is sitting below the surface, which I am excited to see more of. I want to see more of Joshua’s life in the US and the reason for the security. I can feel the danger seeping out of the story and I’m intrigued to know more!I really liked this read and even though by the end of the book I figured out the major twist. The ending left me gasping and eager to continue into the second book. Natasha and Joshua both share their perspectives in Stanton Adore, but are not the only ones. One thing that irritated me a little was that Joshua’s perspective began from the third person, then switched to first later in the book; it needed to be one or the other. I liked how this story unfolded and I’m dying to see what happens now for Joshua and Natasha.Complimentary copy provided by the Author in exchange for an honest review.
