    Be careful, It’s a regular wolves’ den in here. 5 GOLD PAWSWOW!! What a HOWLING story!! I seriously don't know how Roxie does it, but boy does she ever!! I have read all of the Shifter Country books out now and every single one is PAWESOME! Every single one is FANGTASTIC! Every single one is FURRIFIC! And EVERY SINGLE ONE is unique, gasp-inducing, awe-inspiring and way beyond SHIFTACULAR!!! I love that every story is its OWN story, even if at the most basic level they are almost the same. Meaning that yes, there are two characters already mated, hoping to complete their triad someday, and yes, that does happen, but that is it! EVERY LITTLE DETAIL, FEATURE, FACT & TIDBIT that brought them to the beginning of the story, that happens throughout the story and at the end, as well as any & every thing in between is different! I love that this one was quite intense, but WOOF! My poor nerves just couldn't take much more! In fact, my poor fingers are STILL cramped and sore from gripping my tablet so hard! Thank goodness it is pretty durable and used to the abuse! :-) No matter which book of Roxie's that I have read, I have ABSO-FURRY-LUTELY LOVED each and every one! I love being able to follow her characters as they search for their mates, getting to know them as the story is told from each of their perspectives - not in first person - so you get the unique advantage of understanding all sides! But there are three main characteristics that I love in shifter books that for me, elevate it to a story worth shouting about from the rooftops, or rather in the form of my review - 1) have me live the story with the characters, or rather AS the characters, as if it is MY story - CHECK! 2) when the animal side has its own personality, influences the human side, and/or the human side effects the animal side, depending which form they are in. I always love the human being more animalistic and the animal more human - CHECK!! 3) hold me deep in the story from start to end, to the point that my world & pain falls away - CHECK, CHECK aaaand CHECK!!! I LOVE Roxie's Bears and wasn't ready to say good-bye to them, after all, they were my first, and you know what they say about that! wink wink But her Wolves! Oh her Wolves are pretty frackin FURLICIOUS!! All it takes is one story - or if you are like me, it only took one CHAPTER! - to realize just how phenomenally talented Roxie is!! But then combine that with her true gift to craft such addictive stories, and you will be as obsessed as I am with her SHIFTASTIC books no matter the shifters inside!! I hope that Roxie has plans to continue to WRITE these FURNOMENAL shifter stories for many, Many, MANY years to come, because I certainly have plans to READ & re-read them for many, Many, MANY years to come!!

    MurderI just finished reading Fighting for Wolves (Shifter Country Wolves Book 3). As with book 1 & 2 it was GREAT!! But what else could you expect from Roxie Noir?!?! I am hooked on this series! Grey a kindergarten teacher moves to Rustvale from Reno to help kick her gambling addiction. It can't be as easy to gamble here as it was in Reno.... Oh but of course, when Grey leaves an underground poker game she finds a young dead wolf-shifter boy named Nicky. Dane a wolf-shifter who's mate is Isaac is the only detective in Rustvale, the small shifter town doesn't require anything else. As Dane goes to investigate & question the only witness, he sees her and **for a split second, he felt like he was upside down in a wind tunnel, the world around him howling as he got nearly blown away, and then everything was normal again.** Grey thinks he's a **sexy tall detective with the most serious brown eyes she’d ever seen.** When Grey meets Isaac the next night **she felt a shiver go down her spine, he is hot, with slate-blue eyes, wide cheekbones, a day or two of stubble, and a nose that was just a little crooked.** Isaac met Grey when he stood up for her when she was threatened, but **he felt like he couldn’t control himself around her, like he wanted to take her in his arms, bury his face in her beautiful blond hair, feel her chest rising and falling against his own. He hadn’t felt that way about anyone in years. Not since he’d met Dane, and those feelings had been different. Just as strong, but different.** As well as tear apart anyone that threatens her. They found their female to complete their triad, will Grey feel the same way? Will Grey be accused of Nicky's murder because she's the one who found & reported it? How does it play out??? You'll have to read it to see! I gave this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars!FAVORITE QUOTE **But when you know, you know, and this is it** {**pulled straight from the pages**}

    A Gambler, A Fighter, & A Detective Make An Interesting Triad! This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. Fighting For Wolves is a story about 2 wolves shifter / men and a new woman in town. It has love, romance, ménage, mystery, murder, and a HEA.*possible spoiler* Grace Macauley (Grey) is new to town. She teaches kindergarten and gambles in an underground poker game. One night after leaving the poker game, Grey finds a dead body. She has a gambling problem. So finding a dead body and other reasons doesn't stop Grey from going back to or thinking about going back to the underground poker game. Grey is a good girl by day and participates in illegal activities at night. Dane Sorenson is a detective for the Rustvale Police Department. He is a follow the rules kind of guy. Dane is now having to investigate a homicide. It is the first murder that the town has had in 30 years. Dane and Issac are both wolf shifters and mates. Issac Yates is a former champion wolf fighter. He is now an accountant, but he continues to think about fighting. Issac wants to go back into the ring one more time for the adrenaline and the money, so he says. He is too afraid to tell Dane about his decision for one last fight. Dane is still has a bad boy in him. Grey meets Issac and Dane at different times, but feels an instant connection with both men. Issac and Dane feel that they have found their third mate. Now Dane just have to work on finding the murderer and clearing Grey's name. My favorite scene is the one in the jailhouse / holding cell. I loved the chemistry between Grey, Dane, and Issac. I appreciated that the author made Grey character gutsy enough to go to Issac's fight. I like that Grey wanted to be there for him even though it could look bad for her.* received this book for an unbiased review*4 Wolf Shifter Stars!

    ARC free book for honest review:Roxie Noir is an awesome writer who knows how to write a book and spin the web for the characters in the book. As the reader reads the book the web begins to unwound. She takes three main characters and puts them together in an unorthodox manner. In so doing this the three characters eventually realize they are meant to be together. She has yet to let me down with her writing.Grey Macauley is a gambler at night and teacher by day. She moved to Rustvale to escape Reno and the temptation the casino's. Leaving a card game she had no idea that her night would just get worse. After finding a dead body in an ally way, she is interviewed by Dane and she doesn't fool him. He knows she is hiding something.Dane Sorenson was introduced in "Running with Wolves" a Detective in the Rustvale's Police Department. Dane is investigating his first murder and the first ever murder in Rustvale.. The person who finds the body is Grey and Dane knows right off that she is the third for his Triad. Yet holding back his feelings while interviewing her gets hard. Isaac Yates is a retired "wolf fighter", CPA and Dane's mate. Isaac wants to fight again, and Dane doesn't want him too because he doesn't want Isaac to get hurt. Isaac meets Grey while making the deal for his final fight in the "wolf fights" and realizes that she is the third for their Triad. He also has to figure out how to tell Dane he is going to fight again. Murder, lies, and lust will test their newfound connection… but will it bond them fast, or shatter them forever? Awesome book and one you must read to fill in the blanks. You will not be disappointed.

    grey stumbles up on a corpse in a dark alley. the first murder in this little town in 30 years!just her luck. Dane, the towns newly promoted detective, has to keep his wolf in check when he has to interview Grey. Mine is all his beast is telling him. but he also feels Grey isn't telling him everything just as his gut tells him she's innocent.relieved to be dropped of at home, Grey has a hard time struggling with her secret addiction. should she go back or not? addiction getting the better of her, she makes her way down into the dark corners of the shop. behind locked doors she feels the familiar thrill wash over her when she's around the betting tables. only she isn't welcomed this time. though she know nothing is her fault, she kept her mouth shut about her real whereabouts the night before. things start to get hairy, that is until Isaac steps in and removes the individual making her time here hellish.later on she even gets arrested and put in a holding cell. when isaac comes in to keep her company and dane joins them, it becomes clear to her the two men know each other. which is confirmed when dane tells her they're mated. how these three will move on from everything is a big question with more drama and bad choices lurking around the corner.the start of this story reads a bit more complicated BUT it adds so much to the story when you see all the pieces falling into place.really, really loved the story, the emotion, hardship. there are quite a few time you could say : love is, taking care of each other no matter what!free copy given in exchange for an honest review

    Grace Patience Joy Macauley (Grey) grew up in Reno, Nevada and is a compulsive gambler. She moved to Rustvale to get away from the temptation of gambling only to find an underground poker game and trouble in the form of being a murder suspect.Detective Dane Sorenson is a “buy the book” kind of guy. He meets Grey when he is called in to investigate a murder. He knows she didn’t do it, but he also knows she’s hiding something?Isaac Yates is an adrenaline junkie. He misses the high he gets through fighting and sets up one last fight hoping his Mate, Dane, doesn’t find out. Nothing ever goes as planned. This is the second book in the Shifter County Wolves series. I did enjoy reading it, but not as much as the first. The characters have personal problems that are mentioned, then nothing more is said. It seemed to me that when I turned the page to go to the next chapter to find out more, it just ended. Chapter 12 the fight, chapter 13 the hot stuff, chapter 14 solve the murder and then the Epilogue. We never do get to know the “why” of the murder just the “who done it”.The chemistry between the three of them is okay. Nothing but kissing happens until chapter 13, and that was only between the guys. I know it’s a novella, but it would have been nice if the characters could have been developed a little more. “I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.”

    The DownstairsI love the Shifter Country Wolves books. Shifters have come out and live in territories carved out of other states. The books are for the most part loosely connected, can standalone and each has an HEA. This book is set in Cascadia, in northern California. Grey Macauley has a problem. She is a kindergarten teacher and compulsive gambler who found a dead body on her way home from The Downstairs, an illegal backroom poker operation. Dane Sorenson is the homicide detective assigned to the case. He recognizes Grey right away as a likely triad mate, but questions her about what she saw, then takes her home, planning to talk to his mate about meeting her. Isaac is an accountant, former wolf pit fighter, and Dane's mate. He meets Grey at The Downstairs where he is signing up for a "last fight". He comes to her defense when one of the poker player becomes verbally abusive toward her, also recognizing she is their likely mate. Then someone calls in a tip that Grey was the one who killed the victim. And Dane finds himself trying to stay afloat as Isaac goes into the wolf pit and Grey faces charges that could take her away from them forever.

    Grey is new to shifter country. She just moved to Cascadia from Reno. Turns out Reno'so not a great place for a compulsive gambler to live. Grey's a kindergarten teacher by day and illicit gambler by night. Despite moving to Cascadia in order to quit gambling it didn't take her long to find the illegal gambling going on under the local liquor store. One night, while leaving a game, she stumbles on a dead body. Then she meets Dane, the detective assigned to the case. She has a nearly uncontrollable attraction to the handsome wolf shifter. Soon, someone claims Grey herself killed the victim. What's a girl to do? Is she going to jail for murder? How will this scandal effect her job as a kindergarten teacher?Dane is the only detective in a town that has almost no crime. When the first murder to happen is decades occurs in Rustvale, everyone is thrown off their game. After Dane arrives on scene, he's shocked to find himself so attracted to the woman who found the body. She's his and Isaac's mate. How will he cope with the fact she's just become the number one murder suspect?I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    I loved this story of a wolf shifter pair who find the girl of their dreams after a murder in their sleepy town of Rustvale. Dane is a cop and Isaac an Accountant but they had both fought in the ring against others wolves. Isaac struggles with the need to feel that adrenaline flow through his veins again. They meet Grey who is a school teacher as well as a young woman with a gambling addiction. Grey found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time."Every night when you go to bed, you'll close your eyes, and for a moment you'll think of how you felt in the ring. Every time you see a fight, or smell dirty dogs, or hear people cheer, you're going to want to be back in that ring, even if only for a moment.""It's hard to give up something you love.""Desire like liquid heat swept through grey's body, nearly making her dizzy."This book had suspense, mystery, romance and hot shifter action. I could not put it down until I was done reading it. Excellent story by a talented young Author, Roxie Noir!

    When a Roxie Noir book hits my kindle I drop what I am doing and read it right away because I know it will be good. This is the second book in the Shifter Country Wolves series but it is complete book in itself. Grey has a wee bit of trouble for a school teacher...she likes to gamble. Not only that but she happens to stumble onto a dead body right after she left an under-ground gambling place. Now there is good in this as she meets a really HOT cop who sets her blood racing and she is not sure why. She can't stop the gambling pull and goes back the next night only to get into a shouting match with a nasty man named Shovel. Course that leads to her favor as well because she meets Isaac, a scruffy big boxer looking man. For some reason she is drawn to him as well as the cop Dane. (She doesn't know they are mates and yes you guessed it.....)Grab this book and find out all the ins and outs and who killed who and who was doing who.Really hot book and I for one and waiting with baited breath for book 3 in this series

    Dane (Detective Sorensen) is a homicide detective in Rustvale. Grey (Grace Patience McCauley) is a kindergarten teacher who plays high-stakes poker in the back rooms of the town at night. One night on the way home she finds a dead body and meets Dane who comes to work the case and recognizes her as the third in their triad, but he holds back as she has just seen a dead body. Isaac, CPA by trade now and Dane’s mate, also plays high-stakes poker where he runs into Grey and feels the same triad attraction Dane does. Each person had something to hide, and something to lose in both their livelihood and relationships. Can Dane solve the murderer – the first in Rustvale for 30 years? Can these three figure out how to make a relationship work? I love how Noir lets us into the head of each character, as the story and relationship develops.*A complimentary copy was given in exchange for an honest review*

    After briefly meeting Dane Sorenson in Running With Wolves, we get to learn more about him and his mate, Isaac Yates. We also meet Grey MacCauley, a kindergarten teacher who recently moved from Reno to Rustvale in hoping to get her gambling addiction under control. On her way home one night, Grey discovers the body of a wolf shifter in an alley after being stabbed several times. This is a terrific story with a peek into the seedy underbelly of illegal gambling and murder. These characters are realistic in their flaws and feelings. Grey is juggling her career and her addiction. Isaac is struggling with his addiction to fighting and Dane is trying to get through to them both. They are funny and crazy and smart. A feel-good story with a happy ending. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    What can I say, Roxie is a fantastic wrter, I have read a lot of her books, I have never been disappointed. So when 7 was asked to fighting for wolves for a honest review, I was a 100% on broad. You have 2 shifter and 1 human girl, who has a gambling problem, and accidentally comes across a dead body, boy oh boy is grey in troble? Dane is one of the shifter, who is the detective of the case, and mate to Issac who is hiding a lye behind Dane, because he does not want to hurt him . All three lives are meshed together, but with murder and lies, can they become a triad? The story has every emotional you can have. If you have not read Roxie story or series, this one would be good to start with.

    Grey only just moved to town, and she's already off to a bad start when she stumbles across a body in an alley, and is considered a suspect in the person's mysterious death. Yeah, not exactly the best way to start things off. Things only get more complicated from there as Dane tries to solve the mystery, and figure out what his mate, Isaac, is hiding from him. Who also sort of has a connection with Grey. We met Dane in Running With Wolves, and I was really happy to get to see him get his own story. Isaac and Grey are perfect matches for him, and I enjoyed seeing Dane and Isaac getting to know Grey as they tried to solve the murder and find the killer. No spoilers, but we get to see Dane, Grey and Isaac get their HEA. This was a fast paced, fun story that I really enjoyed.

    Fast paced and intense wolf shifter romance, with two extra sexy wolves and the quirky girl that is perfect for them. Wolf shifter Dane is a detective investigating his first murder, and Grey is the human woman who found the body, and who it seems is his triad mate. Grey is a kindergarten teacher by day, but by night she likes to gamble a bit. Isaac is Dane's first mate, he quit being a ring fighter years ago, and it is calling him back for one more fight, but he knows Dane will get very upset over the fight. With a killer on the loose, and Isaacs fight looming ahead, the trio will bond, but will it last? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    I love books written by Roxie Noir. First of all, I really like shifter books and menage books. Roxie Noir takes both of these, and at the same time does a great job writing a story that you can not put down because you want to know what is going to happen next. Isaac is a wolf shifter tax preparer that also loves to participate in the wolf fights. Dane is his mate, and a wolf shifter police detective. Grey is a human woman that is addictive to gambling, and also a kindergarten teacher. The book is a story of murder and love. I received this book for free in return for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading it, and I highly recommend it.

Dane is the really hot detective who questions her. The next evening she meets Issac an equally hot wolf fighter, who just happens to be Dane's mate.Did she kill the guy, is she innocent??? Can these three figure it out and get past their issues to have a relationship? Only by reading will you find out...don't wait go read. :) I was given an arc for an honest review.

    I enjoy reading these triad stories where the two males are looking for the female to complete their relationship. In this case, secrets are making it hard for them to be together. Grey is a gambler trying to avoid it but can't seem to stay out of trouble. Isaac is keeping secrets from his mate and needs to keep some distance from Grey to keep that quiet. Dane knows there are lies and secrets and he is trying to solve a murder where Grey is a suspect. Grey knows she should not lie to a police officer, but she was not exactly leaving a legal place when she stumbled upon the body. Everything is fine until someone from town claims to have seen her kill the man. On the upside, she gets to spend time with Dane and Isaac who are both extremely attractive shifter mates. Isaac has not been honest with Dane about leaving the underground fighting behind. I received a copy in exchange for a an honest review.

    This was not one of my favorite book. It had potential to be really good but just fell flat for me. We had Grey and Isaac who both had serious issues but wasn't talk about again so we don't know if they got help or not for those issues. I was hoping we were going to get more of a love story between the couples but we didn't. With that being said the book was OK for me but I'm still looking forward to reading more in this series. Great storyDane is Restvale's Police Departments only Detective, he is called to a murder scene, the first in his memory. The pretty human who discovered the body makes his wolf sit up and take notice. Grey is new in town, a kindergarten teacher with a gambling problem. Isaac is Dane's mate a former wolf fighter turned accountant. A steamy, MMF, murder mystery. A fun, fast paced story, the ending was abrupt but nice.

    This is one of those books you just have to read as there is a lot going one. Dane is the Sheriff Issac his mate is a CPA. Grey is new to town and brings with her mystery and maybe danger. She is caught in the middle of the first murder to happen in 30 years. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review. I liked this one about the same as book 1, but I absolutely hate this cover. I am a cover-snob (or cover-whore depending on who you ask) and this one almost made me skip the story all together. "Dane" and "Grey" look hot, but "Isaac" looks like he's gnawing her ear off. I know he's a wolf-shifter but...come on.
